Chisai means “small” in japanese. This Chisai was made out of a scarf named “Silk Roads”, designed by Roberta Fernandes.

Roberta Fernandes invites the public to enter the Silk Valley in a lucid way, with a design supposedly born of the thread from a ball of silk. The technique used is the digital design printed on fabric. “This project was an opportunity to represent my city, which is the capital of silk,” she says. Trained in visual arts and working in visual arts and graphic design and as the municipality’s coordinator of culture.
